Drew Barrymore and her 50 First Dates costar have blended their households.
The Charlie's Angels alum shared that she recently walked in on one of her kids and Adam Sandler's daughter watching their early 2000s rom-com while the group was hanging out at her house.
"I was like, 'Why are you guys watching this?'" Drew recalled during an episode of The Drew Barrymore Show airing Nov. 11, per Too Fab. "'Don't you get enough of me and your dad?'"
And while the talk show host—who shares daughters Olive, 12, and Frankie, 10, with ex-husband Will Kopelman—didn't specify which of her kids were enjoying the 2004 flick, she did emphasize that it was a "sweet and wonderful" moment to witness for her and Adam, who is dad to Sadie, 18, and Sunny, 16, with wife Jackie Sandler.
And she still remembers some of the details that went into making the comedy, which followed Henry (Adam) as he fell in love with Lucy (Drew), who suffered from short-term memory loss following a car accident. In fact, Drew previously revealed that the movie was supposed to be called "50 First Kisses" and had been written with a totally different ending.
"The original ending was her saying, 'You should go and live your life, because this is no life here,'" she said on an August episode of The Drew Barrymore Show. "And he goes away, as he does, and he comes back and he walks into the restaurant, and he just sits down and says, 'Hi, I'm Henry.' And the film ends."
This isn't the first time Drew has taken a trip down memory lane with her costar. Back in January, the 49-year-old shared an emotional message to Adam after catching 1998's The Wedding Singer—the first film the pair ever starred in together—on television.
"It started this morning," Barrymore explained in a tearful video shared to Instagram at the time. "I was supposed to be heading to yoga class, and I'm taking the next later one so I can watch it."
Addressing Adam directly, Drew added, "We made such a good movie. I love you so much. Happy New Year."
And the Happy Gilmore star was touched by her nostalgia, commenting under the post, "Love u always, Drew."
